For our fifth anniversary beer, we blended two different imperial brown ales that have been aging in Heaven Hill and Woodford Reserve Double Oaked barrels for 27-34 months. To commemorate the occasion, we then conditioned the blend atop five adjuncts that meld beautifully together, including wild Thai banana, Madagascar vanilla, as well as a deft hand of almond, hazelnut, and maple. The result is an indulgent gateway into a sea of banana brûlée, amaretto, toffee, and dark cherry ganache.
