2025 Madera Members Bottle Releases

Dreamgaze // Barrel-aged Imperial Stout w/ Coconut & Vanilla

What do stouts dream of when they take a big stout snooze? Do they dream of coconut and vanilla OR freshly dumped bourbon barrels to be racked into? Alright, alright, alright….back to the script. Dreamgaze is a blend of rye and wheated imperial stouts that were aged in Willett and Heaven Hill barrels for 17 to 21 months. We then conditioned the blend on toasted and raw coconut, as well as Madagascar and Ugandan vanilla. What more can you want? The perfect one-two punch that embodies deeply saturated bourbon barrel character with a side of macaroons, German chocolate cake, and silky mouthfeel from start to finish.

Reflection Chamber (2025) // Barrel-aged Imperial Stout

For this year’s version of Reflection Chamber we went all stout, which is surprisingly something we have yet to do. For our Grand Cru blend we chose stouts that were aged in Willett Family Estate bourbon and rye barrels for 21-29 months. So many of our beers slumbering in Willett barrels seem to hit this beautiful ripening period around that timeline, so it’s exciting to have these barrels be a part of the first release of 2025. The resulting stout is one of our thickest to date. Big fudge-like notes remind of us cookie dough, dark chocolate, marzipan, and a strong barrel character that brings the resulting beer into balance.

Of Harvest // Barrel-aged Imperial Stout w/ Maple & Pecan

What’s better than going full fall mode for the last Madera release of the year!? Working backwards, we pulled barrel samples and looked for base beers that would compliment maple and pecan with notes of spice and rich vanilla. We ended up blending rye and wheated imperial stouts that were aged 17 to 21 months in Russell’s Reserve and Heaven Hill barrels. Once blended we then conditioned the beer on maple and hand-toasted pecans. The end result is straight out of the pastry case that remind us of maple nut creams, pecan brownies, and dark chocolate bark.

No Dawn, No Day // Barrel-aged Imperial Stout w/ Coffee, Maple & Cinnamon

A blend of imperial stouts aged in Willett bourbon barrels for 21 months that was conditioned atop coffee, maple, and cinnamon. Winter morning nostalgia is the inspiration behind this beer. Think french toast, strong coffee, and snowy windows. The coffee in this beer was custom roasted for us by Marcell Coffee (Kansas City, MO). It is a 100% Columbian coffee blend that hails from the La Union region of Nariño and roasted to a medium-dark spec that is bold and harmoniously integrates into the rich stout base.

Tilted Axis // Double-oaked Barleywine

As we look to the future for our barleywines, we seek to coax unique flavors with the use of different woods. For this beer, we took a blend of barleywines aged in Willett Bourbon and Family Estate Reserve barrels for 28 to 31 months. We then conditioned that blend on staves from amburana barrels, which is a Brazilian hardwood. At its core the base beer still shines with dark fruits and toffee shining through but what the amburana adds is a complex spiced character that feels like a mix of gingerbread and crushed graham cracker. As time goes on, expect to see more woods or barrel treatments integrated in our base beers!

Keeper's Keep // Barrel-aged Barleywine Ale

Keeper’s Keep is a blend of our most prized barleywine barrels. The 2025 blend contains barleywines that have matured in Willett Family Estate bourbon barrels for 21-27 months. We pulled from barrels offering notes of dark and dried fruits, toffee, creme brûlée, and floral vanilla. Like most of our barrel-aged beers, there is an oaky backbone that builds as the beer warms in the glass. We hope you enjoy this barleywine as much as we enjoyed finding the right blend for the 2025 Madera members.
